As part of our commitment to Excellence, Wings Air Support maintains just as high expectations of our suppliers as of ourselves. We are fortunate to be able to work with exemplary organizations within the industry to support the needs of our customers.
In order to adhere to the rigorous Quality Standards we have set for ourselves as well as facilitate appropriate expectation management, we have established this page to help outline some of our requirements.
Requirements
Vendor Approval
All our suppliers are vetted prior to completion of business. Qualifying suppliers are unrestricted distributors   Supplier is a Production Approval Holder (PAH) i.e. Production Certificate Holder, Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) holder, Technical Standard Order Authorization (TSO) holder, Type Certificate (TC) holder, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) holder) or an authorized distributor, airline, Repair Station/AMO, FAA 00-56 accredited distributor, ASA-100 accredited distributor, ISO/AS/EN certified distributor or AFRA accredited distributor.
Quality Sytem
Wings Air Support is a proud ASA-100 member and strives to maintain and exceed the expectations set forth in Rev. 5. Any of our suppliers who do not qualify as unregulated distributors are required to complete our Supplier Approval Form or submit a current self-audit detailing the quality system in use along with any accreditations/certifications and a valid point of contact.
Supplier Expectations
In addition to full compliance with whatever approved Quality System our Suppliers subscribe to, we expect and require that parts were not 1.Subjected to conditions of extreme stress, heat, or environment while in your care. 2.Removed from an aircraft or engine that was subjected to extreme stress, such as a major engine failure, accident, fire or saltwater immersion. 3.Previously installed in a public aircraft, such as a government use aircraft or military aircraft. And that any such information must be disclosed prior to purchase.
